Pickup truck burst into flames while parked on the side of the road

(Baonghean.vn)- At about 3:00 p.m. on August 9, a Mazda BT50 pickup truck (white) with license plate 37C - 202.99caught fire while parked at block 4, Quan Hanh town, Nghi Loc district (in front of the gate of the district People's Procuracy).

According to local residents, after three loud explosions, flames and black smoke engulfed the pickup truck.

Due to the southerly wind, the fire spread rapidly and fiercely. Many residents and officers of Nghi Loc People's Procuracy used fire extinguishers and water to put out the fire but could not save it.

Immediately afterwards, officers and soldiers of Fire Police Department No. 2 arrived at the scene to control the fire. After 30 minutes, the fire was extinguished but the car was burned down.

It is known that the car arrived and parked at the above location at around 2:30 p.m. Currently, Nghi Loc police have blocked off the scene to investigate the cause of the incident./.
