Crazy pickup truck running away from police

The 18-year-old man drove away from police, lost control of his car when it crashed through a spiked fence, causing it to fly into the air and land on a Toyota Corolla.

The incident began when police stopped a Toyota Tacoma for speeding in Webster Parish, Louisiana, USA, on February 28, according to KSLA.

While police were talking to the driver outside, Kevonte Dekorey Austin, the passenger in the passenger seat, jumped into the wheel and drove away. The ensuing chase was intense with speeds reaching up to 185 km/h at one point.

Austin lost control of his truck as he drove down Highway 371, hitting a spiked barricade set up by police. The pickup truck flew several feet into the air before landing on a Toyota Corolla parked in front of a restaurant.

Barbara Harlon, the woman sitting in the Corolla at the time, was lucky to escape the car without injury by climbing through the passenger side door.

The 18-year-old is currently in custody and facing various charges.
