Tanker truck crashes into power pole, then veers onto median strip.
(Baonghean.vn) -At approximately 2:30 PM on May 12th, a traffic collision occurred on Nguyen Sinh Sac road, in the area of Hamlet 3, Hung Chinh commune (Vinh City), involving a tanker truck and two motorcycles.
At that time, the tanker truck with license plate 33H – 7819 (Petrolimex), driven by Ta Duy Long, residing in Dong Tien ward, Hoa Binh city, was traveling in the direction of Vinh City - Hung Nguyen.

At the same time, a motorcycle with license plate 37B1-52.436 driven by Ms. Le Thi Anh (born in 1965), residing in Xuan Khoa hamlet, Nam Dan town, and a motorcycle with license plate 37E1-08.471 driven by Mr. Tran Van Lanh, residing in Hamlet 8, Thanh Khe commune, Thanh Chuong district, collided with each other.
The collision caused the tanker truck to lose control, knocking down a street light pole and crashing into the median. The damaged truck's cabin suffered a shattered windshield, a damaged right-side door, and severed electrical wires; the driver sustained serious injuries. The two motorcyclists suffered minor abrasions.
Immediately after the accident occurred, traffic police, Vinh City Police, and Hung Chinh commune police were present at the scene to direct and regulate traffic.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the police.
