Tanker truck crashes into electric pole, crashes onto median

(Baonghean.vn) -At around 2:30 p.m. on May 12, on Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, through Hamlet 3, Hung Chinh Commune (Vinh City), a traffic collision occurred between a tanker truck and two motorbikes.

At the above time, the tanker with license plate 33H – 7819 (Petrolimex) driven by driver Ta Duy Long, resident of Dong Tien ward, Hoa Binh city, was traveling in the direction of Vinh city - Hung Nguyen.

At the same time, a motorbike with license plate 37B1- 52.436 driven by Ms. Le Thi Anh (born in 1965), residing in Xuan Khoa hamlet, Nam Dan town, and a motorbike with license plate 37E1- 08.471 driven by Mr. Tran Van Lanh, residing in hamlet 8, Thanh Khe commune, Thanh Chuong district, collided with each other.

The collision caused the tanker truck to lose control, knock down a streetlight pole, and swerve onto the median. The damaged vehicle had a broken front window and damaged right door, broken wires, and the driver was seriously injured. The two motorcyclists suffered minor injuries.

Immediately after the accident, traffic police, Vinh city police and Hung Chinh commune police were present at the scene to regulate traffic.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
