Camry car jumped onto the median strip and broke a lamppost on Lenin Avenue.

(Baonghean.vn)- Due to not being able to control the speed, the Toyota Camry jumped onto the median strip, then crashed into a lamppost and a areca tree.

At about 7:15 p.m. on August 29, a Toyota Camry with license plate number 37A - 023.66 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling from Vinh airport to the city center.

According to witnesses, while driving on Lenin Avenue, the Toyota Camry avoided a collision with a truck traveling in the same direction. While traveling at high speed, the Camry lost control and crashed into the median strip, breaking a lamppost.

The car then crashed into a 50cm diameter areca palm tree, flew across the opposite lane for about 20m, and only stopped when the front tire exploded and the airbag inside deployed.

Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured and trapped in the car. Local people broke the window and took him to the hospital for first aid.

Upon receiving the news, Vinh City Police promptly arrived, directed traffic, and investigated the cause of the incident.
