Russian Terminator combat vehicle withstands attack from US Javelin missile
(Baonghean.vn)- A source said that Russia's BMPT Terminator tank support combat vehicle can withstand attacks from the US Javelin missile system.
The source stated: "Battlefield experience shows that the BMPT Terminator, thanks to its reinforced armor, can withstand attacks from Javelin anti-tank missile systems, as well as other anti-tank weapons and grenade launchers produced by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). After being hit, the vehicle only needs minor repairs on the battlefield to fully restore its combat capability."

As another source previously stated, during the military campaign in Ukraine, the Terminator combat vehicle demonstrated its combat endurance and high efficiency due to being equipped with a multi-channel weapon system and enhanced armor protection.
Developed by the Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) Military Scientific Research and Development Corporation, which specializes in supplying weapons for Russian armored and mobile rifle units, the BMPT Terminator entered combat service in Russia in 2018.
Each vehicle is equipped with two 30 mm 2A42 guns, four 9M120-1 Ataka guided missile launchers with laser guidance system, two AGS-17 grenade launchers and an upgraded 7.62 mm Kalashnikov machine gun for tanks. The first contract to supply Terminators to the Russian army was signed at the Army-2017 military forum./.
