Container truck crashes into car on National Highway 1A

(Baonghean.vn) - The container truck was traveling at high speed, and due to not being able to control its speed, it crashed into a car going in the same direction. Not only that, a section of the hard median strip in the middle of the road was also knocked down by this truck.

The accident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on May 18 on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district.

According to witnesses, at the time, the container truck with license plate 37C - 143.38 was traveling in the South - North direction at high speed. When reaching the above road, due to not being able to control the speed, it crashed into a car with license plate 37V - 0548 traveling in the same direction in front.

The strong impact caused the small car to turn around, the body of the car was pressed against the hard median strip in the middle of the road. The front and body of the car were severely damaged. Fortunately, the two men sitting in the car (identities unknown) were not injured. Not only that, the container truck also crashed into two concrete slabs of the hard median strip.

Immediately after the incident, Traffic Police Force 1.5 (Nghe An Provincial Police) quickly arrived to investigate the cause and resolve the incident.
