Container truck slipped off trailer causing multiple accidents, killing 1 woman

A container truck pulling a trailer was traveling on the road when suddenly the trailer slipped, drifted backwards, and crashed into 3 cars parked on the side of the road, causing a woman riding a bicycle to die on the spot.

At the above time, the container truck with license plate 16R 7228 of Thanh Nam Transport and Logistics Joint Stock Company towing a trailer with license plate 15R 012.54 was traveling on Le Thanh Tong Street, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong. When reaching Tre 2 Bridge in May Chai Ward, Ngo Quyen District, the trailer suddenly slipped off the container truck, traveled by inertia for more than 10m, and crashed into 3 cars parked on the side of the road.

At the same time, Ms. Doan Thi Thu Huong (born in 1972, living in the Chua Ve water works collective area) was riding a bicycle to the above road section, unable to avoid in time, was dragged under the trailer and tragically died.

Three cars parked on the side of the road were also severely damaged by the trailer. Fortunately, there were no drivers in the cars.

After the incident, Ngo Quyen District Police and Hai Phong Traffic Police Department were present to regulate traffic and investigate the incident.
