The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on January 2. The sand truck (driver's identity unknown) was traveling to Km 137+950, ​​in Na Tong village, Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong district, when it suddenly plunged into the abyss.

At the scene, the car was lying on its side in the abyss, about 20m from Highway 7A, with some parts of the car broken and scattered into many pieces. The front of the car and the trunk were severely damaged. The telecommunications cable was also broken due to the car's collision.

According to some people who witnessed the incident, the car was traveling on the road when it encountered a herd of cows belonging to the locals. The driver was unable to react in time, causing the accident.

Immediately after the accident, local people quickly took the driver to the emergency room at Tuong Duong District General Hospital. The authorities also promptly arrived to handle the incident.
