The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on January 2. The sand truck (driver's identity unknown) was traveling to Km 137+950, ​​in Na Tong village, Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong district, when it suddenly plunged into the abyss.

At the scene, the car was lying on its side at the bottom of the cliff, about 20 meters from Highway 7A, some parts of the car were broken and scattered into many pieces. The front of the car and the trunk were severely damaged. The telecommunications cable was also broken due to the car's impact.

According to some people who witnessed the incident, the car was traveling on the road when it encountered a herd of cows belonging to local people. The driver was unable to handle the situation in time, causing the accident.
