Sleeper bus crashes into motorbike, sister-in-law dies.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 9th, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Vinh bypass road section passing through Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district, between a sleeper bus and a motorbike, resulting in two fatalities.

The scene of the accident

According to initial information, at approximately 9:30 AM on October 9th, driver Tran Van Kien (born in 1962, residing in Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) was driving a sleeper bus with license plate 51B-124.42 belonging to Dieu Hang bus company, heading from North to South on the Vinh City bypass road.

When the car reached Km00+700 in Nghi Hoa commune (Nghi Loc district), it suddenly collided with a motorbike with license plate 37P1-133.15 traveling in the opposite direction.

The accident resulted in the immediate deaths of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhan (born in 1984) and Ms. Tran Thi Phuong (born in 1987), both residing in Trung Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district). It is known that Ms. Nhan and Ms. Phuong were sisters-in-law.

Upon receiving the report, traffic police officers from Nghi Loc District Police and the Nghe An Traffic Police Team quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.

At the scene, the motorbike was severely damaged, trapped under the front of the sleeper bus. The sleeper bus was on the left side of the road relative to the direction of traffic.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
