120 million VND passenger bus burned down, suspected to be due to burning incense

(Baonghean.vn)- When the passenger bus was discovered on fire, the fire was already raging. After 2 hours, the bus was completely burned down. The cause may have been that on the last day of the month, the bus owner was burning incense and accidentally let the fire fall into the cockpit.

Accordingly, at 2:00 a.m. on October 31, while everyone in the family of Mr. Ho Van Nghia, residing in Truong Thinh village, Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district, was sleeping, they heard neighbors shouting that the passenger bus was on fire. The passenger bus, license plate 37B - 005.80, 30-seat type, had been used for more than 2 months, and was worth 120 million VND.

Discovering the incident, the car owner and local people quickly used fire fighting equipment to put out the fire; at the same time, notified the local authorities and functional forces.

However, the fire was already raging at the time of discovery, making it difficult to put out the fire. By around 4am the same day, the passenger bus was completely destroyed. According to local residents, the cause may have been that on the last day of the month, before going to bed, the car owner had burned incense, so the fire accidentally fell into the cockpit, causing the car to catch fire.

Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
