Laotian license plate passenger bus caught fire on the way to Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn)- While traveling on the Ho Chi Minh trail to Nghe An, a Lao-licensed car suddenly caught fire.

Accordingly, at about 4:00 a.m. on July 12, at KM 621 - Ho Chi Minh road through Dong Trinh village, Xuan Hoa commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province, 8 km from Nghia Dan district - Nghe An. The 2-storey sleeper bus with Lao license plate U2. 2468 of Ho Van Tuan bus company with address Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An was traveling in the direction of Thanh Hoa - Nghe An when it suddenly caught fire at the above location.

At the scene, the entire body, shell, and engine of the car were completely burned, the windows were shattered, leaving only the car frame. At the time of the incident, there were three people in the car, including a driver and two assistants. Fortunately, the driver opened the door in time to let the three people out. There were no casualties.

Immediately after receiving the news, local traffic police and investigation police were present to protect the scene, direct traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.

It is known that the above vehicle departed from Laos, passed through the border gate in Dien Bien province to Nghe An, and caught fire at the above location. According to the driver, the fire broke out from the back of the vehicle, suspected to be an electrical short circuit.

Currently, authorities are investigating the cause of this Lao passenger bus fire.
