Passenger bus caught fire in Laos, car owner died, 3 people seriously burned

(Baonghean.vn) - A passenger bus of Cuong Tuyet company running on the Dien Chau - Laos route was stopping at a motel in the capital Vientiane - Laos for repairs when it suddenly caught fire, killing the owner and seriously burning 3 people.

On the morning of May 29, according to news from the authorities of Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district, one person died in the area due to a passenger bus fire in Laos.

Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on May 28, when the Cuong Tuyet passenger bus running the Dien Chau - Laos route was stopping at a rented motel in Laos, 19km from the capital Vientiane (Laos) for repairs, the bus suddenly caught fire.

The incident left the car owner, Mr. Ngo Sy Giang (born in 1990), residing in village 4, Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district, with severe burns and death. Mr. Giang's wife, Ms. Thanh (from Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district), was also severely burned, and two bus assistants (identities unknown) were also burned and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment immediately afterward.
