Early morning of June 10, a 40-seat passenger bus carrying many children was traveling on National Highway 1, from Binh Chanh to District 12 (HCMC).

About 500 meters from the Go May overpass (Binh Tan district), some cars in front braked suddenly to avoid the construction barrier, causing the passenger car driver to be unable to react in time and crashed straight into a 4-seater car and 2 trucks.
