New Japanese cars priced under 600 million VND are preparing to arrive in Vietnam.
The already vibrant B-segment and near-B-segment car market is about to welcome a new model from Japan with an expected price of under 600 million VND.

According to information from Vina Star Motors, the distributor and manufacturer of Mitsubishi vehicles in Vietnam, the Attrage compact sedan will be available on the market this fall at a relatively affordable price, under 600 million VND.
This model will be imported as a complete unit into the country, along with the Outlander Sport SUV. These will be two important product lines for Mitsubishi in Vietnam in 2014.

The design of the Mitsubishi Attrage shares many similarities with the Mirage currently on the market. The car uses a 1.2-liter MIVEC engine producing 80 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The vehicle measures 4,245 mm in length, 1,670 mm in width, 1,515 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,550 mm.
Not only expanding its market with two new products, Vina Star Motors affirms it will change its business strategy, moving away from the truck market and focusing entirely on passenger cars. Besides adding the Attrage and Outlander, Mitsubishi also plans to upgrade existing models such as the Mirage, Pajero Sport, and Triton, and improve after-sales service quality. Established in 1994, VMS has had a 20-year development history in Vietnam with nearly 45,000 vehicles sold.
