This behavior was recorded by a traffic participant's dash cam at 9:40 a.m. on July 24 on Lenin Avenue.
According to a traffic participant, at 9:40 a.m. on July 24, at Kenh Bac Bridge (the intersection of Le Nin Avenue and Nguyen Sy Sach Street), while this person was traveling on Le Nin Avenue from Vinh Airport to the center, suddenly a truck with license plate 37C-43254, brand Kia Frontier, overtook on the right side, crossed the solid line on the bridge, then turned left onto Nguyen Sy Sach Street and almost caused a traffic collision.
It is worth mentioning that, according to traffic participants, the truck was driving in the straight lane when it suddenly overtook the right side, cut off the car behind, and crossed the solid line. This is a violation of the law as stipulated in the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.
Not to mention, traffic participants also suspected that this truck might violate regulations by not having a yellow license plate (according to regulations, trucks operating in the transport industry are required to change to a yellow license plate).
The truck driver's actions not only endanger himself but also endanger many other vehicles and need to be dealt with seriously.
According to the provisions of Point a, Clause 5, Article 6, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the government, the act of overtaking another vehicle on the right without permission can be fined from 4 to 6 million VND; the act of not complyingCommands, instructions of traffic signs, road markings... can be fined from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND.
In addition, if you are subject to regulations but do not complete the procedures to change the vehicle registration certificate or license plate, you will be fined from 4 million VND to 12 million VND (depending on the individual or organization).
