Truck carrying goods caught fire, people rushed in to help the driver

While driving on Thang Long Avenue (Hanoi), a cargo truck caught fire in the cabin. Many passersby rushed in to help the driver move dozens of boxes in the truck bed.

At around 11am on February 14, a truck with a Lao license plate suddenly caught fire in the front while traveling on Thang Long Avenue (section passing through Ngoc Liep commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi).

The driver swerved to the side of the road and got out in time, using a mini fire extinguisher to put out the fire but was unsuccessful.

At this time, the truck bed contained hundreds of cardboard boxes of goods, the driver called for help from passersby. Some vehicle owners stopped their vehicles to get mini fire extinguishers to help control the fire, then many passersby rushed in to help the truck driver move the cardboard boxes out.

Firefighters were also present at the scene and controlled the fire about 45 minutes later.

At the scene, the truck cabin was completely burned down, the truck bed was slightly damaged. Most of the goods, including candy, instant noodles, dried foods, etc., were moved in time and were not burned.
