Truck and dozens of tons of fresh water were 'blown' into a field in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - A truck was stopped on the side of the road when suddenly, from behind, a container truck, unable to handle the situation in time, hit the truck hard, causing it to "fly" into a rice field on the side of the road.

The accident occurred at around 0:15 a.m. on May 26 on National Highway 1A, passing through Hamlet 13 Tay Son, Nghi Yen Commune, Nghi Loc District (Ngh(An).

The truck is loading the remaining undamaged goods onto another vehicle.

According to people living near the scene, at the time the truck (driver unknown) was stopped on the side of the road heading North-South, carrying dozens of tons of fresh water.

Just after stopping for a while, suddenly from behind a container truck (license plate unknown) running in the same direction, due to not looking carefully, hit the back of the truck hard, causing the truck to lose control and plunge straight into the field.

The incident damaged a large amount of soft drinks on the truck, fortunately the driver was not injured after the incident.

After the accident, the container truck was towed away from the scene to ensure traffic flow. The driver and assistant are currently loading the remaining undamaged cargo onto another vehicle before being towed by rescue forces.

The cause of the incident is currently being investigated by the police.
