(Baonghean.vn) - While traveling at high speed on National Highway 1A, a truck suddenly swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle, veering to the right side of the road and knocking down a signal cable pole at Yen Ly station (Dien Chau).

Workers are fixing the damage caused by the accident.

Accordingly, at 9:30 AM on March 17th, as freight train number 235T1 (Hanoi - Vinh route) was passing through Yen Ly station (Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district), a truck with license plate 37C 07820, driven by Dau Duc (born September 28, 1989, residing in Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province), traveling from Cau Giat towards Vinh, veered onto the railway tracks and knocked down signal pole number 1876 of the station's train communication system. The incident caused the red pole to collapse, disrupting communication.

The station immediately mobilized signal and communication workers to urgently fix the problem to ensure train operations continued, and at the same time, they towed the truck away and filed a report to penalize the driver.
