At that time, the cement truck BS 37C 14958 was parked on the side of the road when it was suddenly hit from behind by a long-haul truck BS 47C 09877 traveling at high speed in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh, causing the truck to fly to one side, and cement was spilled all over the road.

The front of the truck was badly damaged.

Not stopping there, the truck also veered to the right of the road and crashed into a wall, causing the front end to be crushed. At the scene, both vehicles were severely damaged. Two people in the truck were seriously injured and trapped in the cabin. People helped pry open the door and took them to the emergency room.
