Truck drags motorbike for 30 meters, one person dies.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 21st, a traffic accident occurred at the foot of the Nghi Lien railway overpass (Vinh City) between a truck and a motorbike, resulting in one fatality.

At approximately 7:30 AM on October 21st, Mr. Nguyen Tat Huong (born in 1976, residing in Block 15, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City) was driving his motorbike on National Highway 1A in the South-North direction, crossing the railway overpass in Hamlet 18A, Nghi Lien Commune (Vinh City).

Upon reaching the end of the overpass, he was struck by a dump truck with license plate 37C-084.22, driven by Nguyen Viet Ngoc, traveling in the same direction at high speed. The truck dragged both the motorbike and Mr. Huong under its chassis.

The scene of the accident

Shortly afterward, Mr. Huong was taken to the hospital by local residents but he passed away. At the scene, Mr. Huong's motorbike was trapped under the front wheel of the truck, more than 30 meters from its original position.

Upon receiving the report, the traffic accident investigation team of the Vinh City Police and the Nghi Lien commune police quickly arrived at the scene to conduct an examination and investigate the cause of the accident.
