According to several witnesses, at that time, a four-seater car with license plate 37A – 031.86 was traveling from the city center towards Quan Bau. When it reached the section near the Media Hotel, a motorbike suddenly turned across the road, causing the car driver to brake abruptly.

At the same time, the truck with license plate 29C – 321.67, which was driving close behind, was unable to react in time and crashed straight into the rear of the car, pushing the car forward.
