Tanks and fighter jets show off their power at Russian military games

On August 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video recording the best performances of armored and air forces from various countries at the 2016 International Army Games.

The International Army Games 2016 took place over two weeks from July 30 to August 13 at training grounds in Russia and Kazakhstan.

A total of 121 teams with more than 3,000 soldiers from 19 different countries competed in 23 categories such as tank racing, fighter jets, military trucks overcoming obstacles... The three countries with the largest number of teams participating in the sports festival were Russia, Kazakhstan and China.

At the end of the sports festival, host country Russia won the overall victory with a total of 20 gold medals in all three fields of navy, army and air force.
