The world's most expensive Vespa scooter arrives in Vietnam.
On September 8th, the first 2015 Vespa 946 model bearing the Emporio Armani fashion brand arrived in Vietnam by air.

This version was developed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Emporio Armani fashion brand and the 130th birthday of the Piaggio brand. Therefore, this version is also named Vespa 946 Emporio Armani.
The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani was first launched in Italy in June of this year. A representative from Piaggio stated that this model has been brought to Vietnam in preparation for its planned launch on September 18th in Hanoi.
The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani retains the bee-like design of its predecessors. The body is made of solid steel with a satin finish. The words "Emporio Armani" are affixed to both sides of the body, and the Armani fashion house logo is on the front of the scooter.
The vehicle uses a new generation 3-valve engine with electronic fuel injection, and the cylinders are cast from aluminum. It features LED headlights, LED turn signals, LED taillights, and a multi-function LCD display. Safety technologies include an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction control (ASR).
In the Vietnamese market, consumers can begin placing orders for the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani starting September 8th. The Vespa 946 is the world's most expensive scooter. Although not yet officially announced, similar to previous versions, the retail price of the 2015 Emporio Armani version is predicted to be not significantly different from the 2014 Bellissima version.
