Watch Russia successfully launch anti-ballistic missile

The Russian Air Force has successfully tested an upgraded version of its defense system by launching an anti-ballistic missile from a test site in Kazakhstan.

The missile was launched on November 23 from the Sary Shagan launch site located in the steppe of Kazakhstan, RT news agency quoted a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The anti-ballistic missile flew along a pre-programmed flight path and hit the simulated target," Colonel Andrey Prikhodko of the Russian Air Force said, without giving details.
