The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the necessary solution is to tighten, be more serious, and control input better.

At the regular press conference on the afternoon of May 9, the Ministry of Home Affairs commented on the issue.Many young cadres have been disciplined, and it is recommended to review and enforce disciplinary measures in the past, especially the case of Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh - Member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the People's Mobilization Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh is the son of Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh - the late Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees (Ministry of Home Affairs) said that attracting young and capable staff is always a requirement at any time.

However, in reality, there are still some cases where young cadres are disciplined for violations. Accordingly, the necessary solution is to tighten, be more serious, and control input better.

“How to recruit the right young cadres who are capable, have training qualifications, and have the desire to contribute to the work, the apparatus, and the organization. During the recruitment process, it is also necessary to educate and train civil servants so that they always perform their duties correctly and fully to avoid violations” – Mr. Nguyen Tu Long said.

Previously, from April 24 to 26, 2019, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Committee held its 35th meeting. At this meeting, the Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and discipline Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh violated moral qualities and lifestyle; violated the regulations of the Central Executive Committee on what party members are not allowed to do and the Party's regulations on the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and party members.

Mr. Canh violated Point c, Clause 2, Article 5 of the Law on Marriage and Family and violated what party members are not allowed to do.
