(Baonghean) - Do Luong tunnel brick factory invests in innovation in tunnel brick production technology - robot automation. This is the first model applying 100% automated tunnel brick production technology in the Northern region.

Do Luong Tunnel Brick Factory is located in Hamlet 1, Nhan Son Commune, Do Luong District, and was established in 2002. After many stages of development, the factory has achieved certain successes. In particular, since 2008, after 100% equitization, the factory has built a strong brand. However, due to the use of some old technologies, the products are somewhat "out of date" compared to market requirements.

From that reality and realizing the huge demand for construction bricks in Nghe An, the Board of Directors of Do Luong Tunnel Brick Enterprise decided to upgrade the entire production line with high technology. The project: "Innovation in tunnel brick production technology - robot automation" with a total investment value of nearly 100 billion VND was born in that context, with the goal of improving product quality according to market requirements.

Tunnel brick production technology - Robot automation is deployed to assemble with a modern, imported machinery line system, to provide the best products to serve the entire North Central region. This line is automated in the process of processing and shaping the product.

The machine system has a weight ranging from 12 - 50 tons, such as the extruder has a pressing force of up to 4Mpa while conventional machines in Vietnam can only compress a maximum of 0.7 Mpa. Immediately after forming the wooden block, the brick can withstand the force of a person weighing more than 60 kg walking on the product with a pair of nails without being deformed.

The new line has 2 robots, each replacing more than 100 workers, applying PLC control technology to the production process. The brick stacking speed is stable, can work for a long time, without interruption. The line also applies an automatic brick stacking robot system, a highly automated device that frees up to 60% of human labor. The large rolling machine weighs 30 tons/machine, allowing the most thorough destruction of the original structure.

This line also applies electronic belt weighing technology in the process of mixing raw materials to get the best quality; applies standard raw material processing with incubation tanks and multi-bucket excavator systems to stabilize raw materials and the CBTH system; applies a system of 2 PLC kilns and 3 drying ovens 4.2 m wide and 126.7 m long, 4 wooden rails, 2 red rails, 3 ferry return rails operated completely automatically; applies red brick pickers, forklifts to remove products from the kiln, reducing 60% of the labor in this stage.

Besides, there are many other modern machines such as barrel feeder, multi-bucket excavator, smoothing mill, 2-shaft mixer, robot clamp. Fan system, using 3 high-capacity fans with air flow up to 160,000m3gas/hour…

Chairman of the Board of Directors - Director Tran Ngoc Ha said: “The PLC process allows controlling the consumption of raw materials and fuel to produce products with uniform quality and design as European countries are implementing. Applying this new production method can reach 1 million identical products like a drop of water. With a new synchronously invested production line, in addition to conventional construction brick products, the factory will produce high-end decorative brick products such as heat-resistant bricks, soundproof bricks that are used in advanced countries and all products meet Vietnam's national standards, ensuring ecological safety.

Applying new technology in tunnel brick production, Do Luong Tunnel Brick Enterprise has advantages that many brick factories in the area do not have. Specifically, while brick factories in the area do not have a soil mine and have to "measure" it every day, the enterprise has a soil mine of up to 34 hectares, the soil is assessed as "top quality", not salty, not acidic... Not to mention the large consumer market. Currently, domestic and foreign experts are actively assembling the production line, it is estimated that after 60 days of installation and trial operation, the enterprise will produce the first products using new technology. By investing in this new technology, Do Luong Tunnel Brick Enterprise is taking a shortcut to effectively lead in production in a sustainable direction, bringing long-term profits.
