Please do not be indifferent to the sweat and tears of others!
(Baonghean.vn) - After the match between SLNA and XSKT Can Tho ended, a series of criticisms came from fans aimed at Nghe An players, especially the "sinner" Que Ngoc Hai. Is it true that indifference and apathy are becoming an "incurable" disease in Vietnamese football in general and SLNA in particular?
In the 92nd minute, from a pass from player Tan Dat (XSKT.CT) into the SLNA penalty area for teammate Hai Anh to shoot, the ball hit center back Ngoc Hai who was trying to rush back to block and goalkeeper Nguyen Manh's net shook, the score 1 - 1 appeared on the electronic board.
Coach Vu Quang Bao and his players celebrated as if they were the winners, while the yellow jerseys stood there, eyes filled with tears. On the pitch, the Nghe An team members were holding their heads, leaning against the backs of their chairs, motionless.
The most pitiful image was of head coach Nguyen Duc Thang, who did not sit still for a single minute throughout the entire match, holding the cabin canopy with helplessness and pain.

It is true that not winning against a weak team like XSKT Can Tho is really regrettable and disappointing. It is true that not being able to win all 3 points just because of an own goal in the last seconds of the match is really sad and angry.
It is true that after only 2 matches, Nguyen Manh had to pick the ball out of the net due to his teammates' mistakes, and he deserves criticism from Nghe An fans. Not unfairly. But, football is one of the areas of life, luck always goes hand in hand with many other factors.
If we are stubborn and continue to follow the old way of "the winner is king, the loser is the bandit", we celebrate success and curse failure... isn't that too much and heartless?
Ignoring the inanimate number 1 - 1, ignoring Ngoc Hai's own goal... objectively speaking, SLNA had a pretty good match. From the coaching staff to the players, from technique, tactics to fighting spirit, the Nghe An team had a not-so-bad performance, if not good.
In terms of force, SLNA was not better than XSKT Can Tho, but the game on the field and the opportunities created by the Vinh home team were far superior to their opponents. The statistics do not lie, as coach Nguyen Duc Thang's students controlled the ball up to 60%, launching many dangerous shots towards goalkeeper Buu Ngoc's goal (in addition to the goal scored, Henry had no less than 4 shots; The Cuong once headed the ball into the crossbar and once shot the ball close to the post in the first half...).

Ho Chi Minh City Club's acting president Le Cong Vinh was also present in the Vinh stadium stands. Photo: Internet. |
Looking at the way right-back Sy Nam, in his first start for SLNA in the V. League, attacked and defended throughout the match, looking at The Cuong with his left leg still wrapped in bandages, fighting back and forth in the middle of the opponent's fierce attack, looking at Van Khanh, who had just returned from injury, fighting uncompromisingly with the strong foreign duo Henry - Nsi...
Those images are enough to prove the fiery, enthusiastic fighting spirit of Nghe An players. Aren't we fans clamoring for such things from them? Can't the drops of sweat and the collisions that caused The Cuong, Ngoc Toan, Ngoc Duc... to suffer from dull pain move us?
Last Friday, Acting President Le Cong Vinh continued to surprise the public when he decided to reward the members of Ho Chi Minh City Club with 200 million VND after the match at Cam Pha Stadium. It is worth mentioning that the action of the former Vietnam national team striker was taken right after his team - Ho Chi Minh City Club had just suffered a 0-2 defeat against the students of Coach Phan Thanh Hung. This is an unprecedented action in Vietnamese football. And of course, Le Cong Vinh had to receive countless "bricks and stones" from those who "don't like" him.
On his personal page, the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Club did not hesitate to share his opinion, which is worth pondering for everyone: "We are too familiar with the culture of criticism and forget the culture of encouragement, so if we are different, we must assume that we are wrong (...) I used to be a player, so I understand the psychology of players. Even after 12 years of dedication, there are still many people who do not see it as anything.
So, life gave me a cruel slap, I know it hurts so I will never treat others that way (...) Everyone has their own philosophy of playing football. As for me, first of all, be kind to other people's sweat".
On the Vinh Stadium stands on the afternoon of January 14, Le Cong Vinh was also present to watch and cheer for his hometown team. And the Acting President of Ho Chi Minh City Club will once again "feel" that not everywhere, not everyone knows how to "be kind to the sweat of others". Love can be resentful, jealous, sometimes without reason, but please do not utter bitter words to make each other suffer./.
