Asking for a drink, suddenly beat the homeowner to death
The Criminal Police Department of La Grai District, Gia Lai Province, said that a murder case had just occurred in the area, with the perpetrator being a Down syndrome patient.
According to information from the police, at about 8:00 p.m. on November 9, Mr. Ksor Le, 76 years old, residing in Dot Que village, Ia Krai commune, Ia Grai district, was in his house when a young man came in to ask for water to drink.

However, only about 5 minutes later, this young man suddenly picked up a piece of firewood in the house and hit Mr. Le many times on the head and body, killing him on the spot.
Upon receiving the news, La Grai District Police were present at the scene, coordinating with the Provincial Police to examine the scene and the body.
The autopsy results determined that Mr. Le died from multiple injuries and a fractured skull. The perpetrator arrested was Lul, 16 years old, residing in Dot Dung village, Ia Krai commune, Ia Grai district.
It is known that Lul suffered from Down syndrome and could not speak. Before committing the crime, Lul drank alcohol at the cemetery. When he returned, Lul went to Mr. Le's house to ask for water and suddenly committed the murder.
The case is still under investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
