Nam Vuc Hamlet celebrates the National Unity Day.
(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of November 9th, Nam Vuc hamlet, Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, held a ceremony to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2015) and the National Unity Day.
Comrade Cao Thi Hien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, along with representatives from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and Yen Thanh district, attended the festival.

Nam Vuc hamlet has 366 households with nearly 1,500 inhabitants, of which 50% are Catholic. Over the years, Nam Vuc hamlet has consistently performed well in the "National Unity Campaign to Build a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas," linked with the New Rural Development program and other patriotic movements.
Thanks to its successful implementation of various movements, Nam Vuc is a model hamlet, always being held up as an example in all aspects of work; the living standards of households are constantly improving, with approximately 30% of households being wealthy, 65% well-off, and only 5% remaining poor. Political security and social order are always maintained, and the solidarity between Catholic and non-Catholic residents remains strong and harmonious. The new rural development movement in Nam Vuc is always well implemented by the people.

Nam Vuc hamlet currently has 12 self-governing neighborhood groups, operating effectively. Residents in these groups actively participate in and build up the movement. Nam Vuc is currently one of the leading hamlets in campaigns to show gratitude and appreciation, as well as cultural, artistic, and sports activities.

On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, the National Unity Day in the residential area, a large number of people from Nam Vuc hamlet participated in cultural, artistic, sports, and educational activities. In 2014, the hamlet was recognized as a cultural village by the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district.

Attending the ceremony, Comrade Cao Thi Hien praised and congratulated the achievements of the cadres and people of Nam Vuc hamlet and expressed her wish that: the cadres and all the people of the hamlet would promote the emulation movement to successfully implement the Resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels; continue to effectively carry out the campaign "All people unite to build a cultured life in residential areas"; and consolidate the great national unity.
On this occasion, leaders of Nghe An province and Yen Thanh district presented gifts to congratulate Nam Vuc hamlet, gave gifts to 8 poor households, and organized the awarding of scholarships to outstanding students.
