Branch RepresentativeForest RangerThe province said that in March 2022, the Forest Ranger force coordinated with local authorities and internal affairs sectors to detect 70 cases of illegal deforestation, most of which were caused by people. A representative of the Forest Ranger Sub-Department explained that one of the reasons for the increase in deforestation in recent times was the large number of people returning to their localities due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. People returning to avoid the epidemic, especially in localities with large forest areas, were mostly unemployed, so many people cut down forests to find a way to make a living. In addition, the number of Forest Ranger officers is still small, and support tools and equipment do not meet work requirements, affecting the effectiveness of patrolling, controlling and protecting forests.
In addition to deforestation, there are also a number of security issues that need attention this month, such as difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance for major provincial and national projects. The posting and sharing of provocative and untrue articles on social networks still occurs.
There were 60 cases of crimes against social order, resulting in 1 death, 14 injuries, and property damage worth nearly 1.8 billion VND. Notably, crimes against property (such as theft, robbery, snatching, extortion,Cheatproperty appropriation...) has shown signs of increasing (accounting for 80% of the crime structure). The reason is partly due to people's difficult lives, affected by the Covid-19 epidemic and the authorities increasing their attacks on crime.

In addition, the authorities also discovered and handled 75 cases and 430 subjects.gamble, collected more than 1 billion VND; compared to the previous month, there were 24 more cases and 114 defendants. Entering the hot season, there were 10 large and small fires in the province, although there were no casualties, property damage was about 80 million VND, an increase of 6 cases compared to the previous month.
Do not let "hot" spots arise
Assessing the performance of agencies in the bloc, in the past time, the sectors have well implemented their tasks according to the unit's plan and the tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. The armed forces strictly maintained combat readiness; political security and social order and safety in the area were ensured. Preparation workdefense zone exerciseProvinces, districts and cities ensure progress.
The authorities have resolutely and synchronously deployed measures in crime prevention and control, detecting and arresting many subjects and cases related to gambling organization, drug crimes, environmental crimes and violations... A number of cases and cases under the supervision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and of public concern have been focused on by the sectors to direct and resolve.
However, there are still some issues that need attention such as the crime and law violations in the month generally increased compared to the previous month; some potentially complicated complaints among the people related to the implementation of the Vinh Hang Ecological Cemetery Park Construction Project in Hung Tay Commune, Hung Nguyen; people's protests related to the opening of residential roads to serve the construction of the Hemaraj Nghi Loc Industrial Park project...
