Strictly handle party organizations and party members who take revenge on and persecute whistleblowers.

Implementing Directive No. 27-CT/TW dated January 10, 2019 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in protecting whistleblowers, whistleblowers, and those fighting against corruption, waste, and negativity, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4276 dated March 29, 2019 to lead the implementation of this Directive.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested specialized agencies to advise and assist the Provincial Party Committee, specifically the Propaganda Department, the Internal Affairs Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the district, city and town Party Committees to disseminate and thoroughly understand the content of Directive 27 to all cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees in agencies, units and localities to enhance responsibility in the work of protecting those who detect, denounce and fight against corruption, waste and negativity.

The content of the dispatch also requires strengthening inspection, examination and supervision of the work of protecting whistleblowers; promptly detecting Party organizations and Party members who do not fulfill their assigned duties and tasks in protecting whistleblowers, people who reflect, make recommendations, and provide information on manifestations of corruption, waste, and negativity of cadres, Party members, agencies and organizations; detecting, clarifying and strictly handling Party organizations and Party members who take revenge on and persecute whistleblowers; strengthening supervision of compliance with the law on denunciation and protection of whistleblowers.

Annually advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee to report to the Politburo and the Secretariat on the results of implementing this Directive.
