Strictly handle cases of distorted information about Covid-19 prevention in Vietnam
Le Kim Lien used Facebook to post video clips from abroad with propaganda content distorting the epidemic prevention and control work in Vietnam and posted articles instructing how to treat Covid-19 at home.
The Internal Political Security Department, Vinh Long Provincial Police, in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications and Long Ho District Police, worked with Le Kim Lien (born in 1989, residing in An Hiep Hamlet, Loc Hoa Commune, Long Ho District) - owner of the Facebook account "TanDat Cao," for posting a lot of information and videos.fabricated, untruths causing confusion among the people.
Previously, through cyberspace control work, the Internal Political Security Department, Vinh Long Provincial Police discovered violations by the Facebook account "TanDat Cao" so they coordinated with other units to quickly verify and clarify the subject.

Through working with the authorities, Le Kim Lien confessed that recently she had used a Facebook account under her husband's name to post video clips from abroad with propaganda content distorting the work of preventing and fighting the epidemic in Vietnam; posted articles about "methods to treat Covid-19 at home" without scientific basis or confirmation from professional agencies, causing confusion in public opinion and subjectivity among the people.
Currently, the case is being consolidated for handling according to the provisions of law./.
