(Baonghean.vn) - In the mountainous district of Con Cuong, 217 households in Yen Khe commune wrote a petition to be removed from the list of poor households. Although the work of the households is voluntary, based on the criteria for poor households and a multi-dimensional review, the district decided to remove 133 households that met the criteria and submitted a petition from the list of poor households.
This is a funny story, proving that the majority of people in the highlands of Nghe An are truly enlightened, abandoning the mindset of waiting and relying on government policies, and rising up to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
