A truck driver was fined for crossing the epidemic prevention checkpoint.
(Baonghean.vn) - The working group signaled and asked the driver to stop the vehicle to make a medical declaration, however, the driver did not comply and intentionally passed the checkpoint.
On August 3, while performing duties at the Control Pointprevention of Covid-19 epidemicAt km 30+400 of National Highway 48D, in Nghia Hoi commune, Nghia Dan district, a working group of Nghia Dan district police discovered a truck running on National Highway 48D from Hoang Mai town to Nghia Dan district.
The working group signaled and asked the driver to stop the vehicle to make a medical declaration, however, the driver did not comply and intentionally passed the checkpoint.
Faced with the driver's above behavior, the task force used specialized motorbikes to chase after the truck. About 1km from the checkpoint, they caught up with the truck and asked the driver to return to the checkpoint to work and make a medical declaration according to regulations.
Through the investigation, it was found that the truck driver was Mr. NDT (residing in Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town).

The behavior of the NDT driver violated the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 12, Decree 117/2020/ND-CP dated September 28, 2020 of the Government on regulations on administrative sanctions in the health sector: "Not implementing personal protection measures for people participating in epidemic prevention and control and people at risk of contracting the epidemic according to the instructions of health authorities".
Based on the nature, violation and related regulations, Nghia Dan District Police advised Nghia Dan District People's Committee to issue a decision to administratively fine the NDT driver VND 2,000,000.
