Implementing the coordination program between the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Northern provinces and cities in carrying out specialized inspection activities, from August 3 in Cua Lo Town, the Seminar "Organizing inspection activities of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development according to the Inspection Law 2022" took place.

In recent years, the Covid-19 pandemic and diseases in livestock and crops have been complicated, continuing to affect production, business, and consumption of agricultural products as well as the management of agricultural material quality and food safety... Inspection activities face many difficulties when means, tools, equipment, and funding for the management of agricultural material quality and food safety are limited.
At the conference, representatives of the Inspectorate of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Northern provinces such as Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc, Son La... discussed and shared the difficulties that the inspection force often encounters in the process of performing its tasks, especially in the period when the Inspection Law 2022 has just come into effect; the solutions that the units have implemented to be able to well manage professional and technical issues of the agricultural sector, the quality of agricultural materials, food safety of agricultural, forestry and fishery products... in the area.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Van Toan - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the provinces to quickly reorganize the department's inspection apparatus to comply with the provisions of the Inspection Law 2022. Develop an inspection plan that is close to and in line with practical needs, flexibly adapt to working methods in an appropriate manner to overcome difficulties, achieve the best results, meet the requirements of the tasks assigned by the management agency, and ensure that the quality of agricultural materials is strictly managed right from the production stage.
“In difficult conditions with high task requirements, the inspection forces of the provinces must unite, learn from experience, support each other in performing their tasks; strengthen coordination with relevant agencies and units in specialized inspection activities; organize the construction of a grassroots network to grasp and exchange information, as Uncle Ho taught: “Inspectors are the eyes and ears of superiors, friends of subordinates”, comrade Tran Van Toan clearly stated.

In recent years, despite many difficulties such as large area, many mountainous districts, remote areas; fragmented agricultural production; many small and seasonal production and business establishments; limited warehouse conditions and equipment for inspection work, Nghe An's agricultural inspection activities still achieved remarkable results.
From 2021 to present, the Inspectorate of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has conducted 12 administrative inspections, recovered 944 million VND; resolved 55 complaints, denunciations and reflections. In the field of specialized inspection, 1,776 specialized inspections and examinations were organized with 7,464 inspected and examined subjects. The amount of administrative fines collected to the State budget was 11.9 billion VND; The amount recovered from other forms was 3 billion 631 million VND. These results have significantly contributed to the achievements of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector in recent years.
At the conference, the representative of the Inspectorate of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development made recommendations to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on a number of issues such as: Early promulgation and implementation of the Decree guiding specialized inspection activities; Research and propose to simplify the procedures and processes in specialized inspection activities appropriately; early arrangement and stabilization of the organizational structure of specialized inspection agencies according to the Inspection Law 2022...
