A completely new self-repairing tire technology – Perfect Type – has just been introduced to the market, which is capable of preventing deflation even when the vehicle runs over a nail.

A flat tire while driving not only poses an unpredictable danger to the life and health of the driver and those around, but also causes a lot of inconvenience and risks...
Faced with this situation, ST Vietnam New Technology Company (ST Vietnam) has just introduced Perfect Tyre self-repairing tire technology for the first time in Vietnam. Commonly used in the military and civilian sectors in Canada, tires coated with Perfect Tyre compound will be puncture-resistant, even when the vehicle runs over a nail.

Explaining this, Mr. Nguyen Van Anh, Director of ST Vietnam, said: “The inside of the tire is coated with a layer of self-sealing glue with a thickness of 3-5 mm. When the car runs over a nail, this layer of glue quickly fills the hole created by the sharp object and seals it, preventing the tire from deflating. Because the inside of the tire is coated tightly, the car can withstand hundreds of punctures at the same time.”
Compared to liquid self-sealing technology, Perfect Tyre has the advantage of not disrupting the dynamic balance of the tire, helping the vehicle operate stably. In addition, this technology will not cause the glue layer to contact the rim, eliminating corrosion like liquid self-sealing glue. According to the manufacturer, Perfect Tyre is more durable than the tire's life and can be reused when replacing a new tire. This is considered an economical solution to prevent punctures compared to using run-flat tires.
According to the representative of ST Vietnam: “With Perfect Tyre, customers can rest assured with the quality and effectiveness of this compound. Low usage cost, high reliability and safety, and environmental protection are the outstanding advantages of Perfect Tyre compared to other self-patching glues or run-flat tires on the market.”
At the launch ceremony in Hanoi yesterday, July 5, participants witnessed and experienced the impressive act of hammering steel nails into tires and driving a car over them. According to experts, the launch of Perfect Tyre anti-puncture technology brings a new step forward in preventing unexpected tire punctures and tears, ensuring safety for both people and vehicles.
It is known that ST Vietnam currently has two factories in Hanoi and the first showroom at 244 Pasteur, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. It is expected that in 2015, ST Vietnam will expand to major cities and provinces across the country. The processing capacity of a Perfect Tyre factory is about 500,000 car tires/year and 6,000,000 motorcycle tires/year. In particular, the processed tires will be warranted for life.
