According to information from the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health), there are currently many rapid food testing kits on the market that have not been granted a certificate of registration for circulation.

Specifically, recently, on some websites "http://maydoantoanthucpham.net", "http://maydothucpham.com" reported and advertised exaggerated and incorrect information compared to the registration documents for the SOEKS NUC-019-1 measuring device.

This is a rapid test kit for nitrate residue in vegetables, fruits, and fresh meat manufactured by SOEKS LLC - Russian Federation. The product is imported by Viet Nga General Import-Export Limited Company and has been granted a certificate of registration for circulation by the Food Safety Department.

Faced with the above situation, the Food Safety Department had a meeting with the representative of the above Company. The results showed that the SOEKS NUC-019-1 food safety measuring device products being advertised on the websites “http://maydoantoanthucpham.net” “http://maydothucpham.com” are not under the management of the Vietnam-Russia General Import-Export Limited Company.

The Food Safety Department recommends that consumers need to understand correctly and use it according to the manufacturer's instructions to avoid misunderstandings about the testing capabilities of rapid food testing kits.

There are many types of rapid food testing kits on the market today.

The results obtained when using the food rapid test kit are only initial results, with screening and orientation significance for subsequent confirmatory tests in the laboratory.

According to Circular 11/2014/TT-BYT dated March 18, 2014 of the Ministry of Health regulating the management of rapid food testing kits, rapid testing kits must be evaluated by the Food Safety Department and granted a Certificate of Circulation Registration before being circulated on the market.
