According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently (August 6), the tropical convergence zone connecting with the low pressure area at 1:00 a.m. this morning is located at about 14.5-15.5 degrees North latitude; 114.7-115.7 degrees East longitude in the central East Sea.

Due to the influence of the tropical convergence zone combined with the strong southwest monsoon, during the day and tonight (August 6), in the South East Sea area (including the waters of Truong Sa archipelago) and the waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, there will continue to be strong southwest winds at level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 8, waves 2-3m high; rough seas.
The Central and Southern East Sea (including the Truong Sa archipelago), the sea areas from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have heavy thunderstorms.
