Vespa scooter imported from the US costs 2 billion VND in Hanoi
There are only 60 Vespa 946 Christian Dior 155cc produced in the world exclusively for the US market. One of them has appeared in Hanoi and costs up to 2 billion VND.
The most high-end scooter model of the Vespa 946 line, the Vespa 946 Christian Dior from Italy appeared in the Vietnamese market in early March this year. This model attracted attention because of its beautiful design as well as its super expensive public price from 700 million VND to over 1 billion VND.
The Vespa 946 Christian Dior introduced by Piaggio in Vietnam as well as many other markets are all 125cc versions. The 155cc engine version was only produced in 60 units and was exclusively for the US market.
However, recently, a Vespa 946 Christian Dior 155cc has appeared in Vietnam, attracting car enthusiasts. The car is currently being sold by Mr. Do Quang Tu (Phung Hung, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) for up to 2 billion VND. This price is twice as high as the 125cc version that previously caused a fever in the market.

Anh Tu said: “This could be the first Vespa 946 Christian Dior 155 in Vietnam, extremely rare because only 60 were produced in the world. The 2022 model was imported in its original box, so the vehicle is still "in original condition" and has not been refueled.”
According to Mr. Tu, Vespa 946 Christian Dior is a collaboration between the Vespa brand and the famous fashion house Christian Dior. This model targets the super-rich, who often play with supercars and expensive branded watches.
Compared to the 125cc versions previously available in Vietnam, the Vespa 946 Christian Dior 155cc has many differences. Specifically, the front of the vehicle has a separate turn signal cluster, an equipment not available on the version sold in Vietnam. The Vespa 946 Christian Dior's headlights use LED technology. The front fairing stands out with the words Vespa 946 in bronze color.
The rear turn signals are also separate, similar to the design on the front. Along with the reflective stickers on the side and the front fender, these are mandatory details on every motorcycle model when rolling in the US.
The frame is made of stamped steel with aluminum details such as rims, handlebars, side panels, front fenders, mirror holders, hangers, etc.
The engine on the Vespa 946 Christian Dior imported from the US is a 3-valve, 155cc engine, producing 12.9 horsepower and 12.8 Nm of torque. Electronic fuel injection combined with air cooling.
Meanwhile, the genuine version in Vietnam uses a 125 engine, 11.4 horsepower and 10.3 Nm of torque.
