Rice exports reached 1.981 million tons.

Cumulative exports from January 1st to April 25th, 2013 reached 1.981 million tons, with an FOB value of US$866.835 million and a CIF value of US$902.589 million.

According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), rice exports from April 1st to April 25th, 2013 reached 529,983 tons, valued at FOB US$225.482 million and CIF US$237.645 million. Cumulative exports from January 1st to April 25th, 2013 reached 1.981 million tons, valued at FOB US$866.835 million and CIF US$902.589 million.

According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of dried paddy rice at warehouses in the Mekong Delta ranges from 5,000 to 5,100 VND/kg for regular varieties and 5,200 to 5,300 VND/kg for long-grain varieties. The price of raw rice for producing 5% broken rice is currently around 6,650 to 6,750 VND/kg depending on the locality, while the price of raw rice for producing 25% broken rice is 6,550 to 6,650 VND/kg depending on quality and location. The price of finished 5% broken rice (unpackaged) is currently around 7,650 to 7,750 VND/kg, 15% broken rice is 7,350 to 7,450 VND/kg, and 25% broken rice is around 7,100 to 7,150 VND/kg depending on quality and location.
