Rice exports reached 2.858 million tons.
Cumulative exports from January 1st to June 6th, 2013 reached 2.858 million tons, with an FOB value of US$1.241 billion and a CIF value of US$1.302 billion.
According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), rice exports from June 1st to June 6th, 2013 reached 70,516 tons, with an FOB value of US$30.692 million and a CIF value of US$33.387 million.
Cumulative exports from January 1st to June 6th, 2013 reached 2.858 million tons, with an FOB value of US$1.241 billion and a CIF value of US$1.302 billion.
According to VFA, the price of dried paddy rice at warehouses in the Mekong Delta region ranges from 4,850 to 4,950 VND/kg for regular varieties and 5,100 to 5,200 VND/kg for long-grain varieties.
The price of raw rice for producing 5% broken rice is currently around 6,500 – 6,600 VND/kg depending on the locality, while the price of raw rice for producing 25% broken rice is 6,100 – 6,200 VND/kg depending on quality and location.
The price of unpackaged finished rice with 5% broken grains is currently around 7,400 – 7,500 VND/kg, rice with 15% broken grains is 7,150 – 7,250 VND/kg, and rice with 25% broken grains is around 6,900 – 7,000 VND/kg, depending on quality and location.
