(Baonghean.vn) - At noon on January 11, while building a house, Ms. Vi Thi Viet's family (Pha village - Yen Khe - Con Cuong) suddenly discovered a piece of iron suspected to be a bomb, weighing about 5 kg, mixed in a pile of sand and gravel.

It is known that to build a house, Ms. Viet's family took sand and gravel from the stream area right in Pha village. Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Head of Pha village said: "After discovering the explosive device, the village management board reported to the Chi Khe commune military command to have a solution."

On the morning of January 12, the commune authorities inspected, verified and reported to superiors while providing strict protection to avoid endangering people.

A 5kg bomb was discovered.

Mr. Nguyen Thao Truong - Head of the Con Cuong District Military Command said: "We have received the information and sent people to monitor and protect the scene to have a plan to handle the situation according to the procedure."
