Touching moment of reunion of separated families between Korea and North Korea
390 people from 96 South Korean families who were separated by the Korean War were reunited with their loved ones. They could not hold back their tears when they saw their parents, spouses, and children again after more than 60 years of separation.

Family separation is one of the most pressing humanitarian issues between the two countries, as most surviving family members are over 80 years old. It is estimated that about half of the 129,700 separated people have died. Pictured: An elderly man is taken to a meeting place by a volunteer. Photo: Reuters |
