Touching footage of Nghe An students dedicated to their teachers
(Baonghean.vn) - The videos sent to teachers are not very polished in terms of images, simple techniques and very simple commentary. But hidden behind them are the hearts and gratitude sent to the teachers that the students love!.
Special gift
“The Leaf” is the first short film made by students at The CP The News Club of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, dedicated to teacher Tran Thi Minh Nguyet - during her last days working at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. The film is less than 5 minutes long, filmed in March - also the time when the whole country was struggling with the Covid-19 pandemic, facing many difficulties.
However, with their feelings, the students of Phan School still brought emotional footage, recording the journey of a teacher who has been attached to the school for 30 years. For the students, it is also “a journey of 30 years of tirelessly carrying letters without a moment of rest. 30 years of attachment and 30 years of perseverance and endurance…”.

Teacher Tran Thi Minh Nguyet is a veteran Russian teacher inPhan Boi Chau High School for the Giftedand is also the person who has gone through many ups and downs of this subject. After many years of attachment, she is also the one who revived the Russian language, bringing Russian from a strange subject to students in the open era, now Russia, Russian people and Russian language have become a subject loved by many generations of students. And students love Russian, love Ms. Nguyet because "Russian" has entered our hearts as softly as the melodies in Tchaikovski's plays that she still tells"...

The film with emotional footage also evokes memories, such as the Russian ball, the letters that Ms. Nguyet received from her students, the field trips to historical and cultural sites, and disability centers...
To us, teacher Tran Thi Minh Nguyet is not only a colleague but also a sister, a shining example in life. Therefore, the film will be an opportunity for us to express our gratitude and thanks to a diligent and dedicated teacher who always devotes herself to her students.
Recalling the film making process, student Duong Anh Nhat - class 12A3 said: Ms. Nguyet teaches the Russian specialized class so we didn't get to learn much from her. But she left an impression on us in the school's movements and activities and deep down we love her very much and are grateful for the good things she has done for Phan School.

To film these videos, Nhat and his friends at CP The News did not have much time to prepare. Since they were still students, the filming conditions were very rudimentary, consisting of a phone and a mini camera borrowed from a former student of the school.
In return, during the filming process, the crew was "floating" with emotions, there were many films made entirely by "improvisation" and brought about emotional effects. "The leaf" is one of those special images as if to talk about "the color of time" and as a message, even though time has passed, students have grown up, gone to many places, they will always be little students, needing the love, tolerance, and guidance of teachers.
Teacher's treasure
For the class 12 A2 - Quy Hop 2 High School, the film "Teacher in my eyes" is an unforgettable memory when for the first time, the students themselves wrote the script and made a film about their homeroom teacher - teacher Nguyen Tuan Anh.
He is a teacher who, in the eyes of the students, “is the kindest person, the second father”, “an active, cheerful person who can dance and sing with the students in extracurricular hours”. The teacher of class 12A2 is also known as Doraemon because “he has a big belly”, but above all, even though he does not have a magic bag or any treasures, his love has made “our youth so beautiful”.

Up to this point, although the film has been completed for quite a while, teacher Nguyen Tuan Anh is still surprised by the feelings that his students have given him. For him, being the head teacher of a special class with "38 girls and only 3 boys" is a lucky thing because it is a group that knows how to unite, love and always strives to not disappoint the expectations of teachers and parents.
Having been with the class for nearly 3 years, the teacher himself did not think that the things he did “from the heart” and with the heart of a teacher would be respected and remembered by the students. The short film with slow-motion black and white footage evokes unforgettable memories, one time the teacher quietly organized International Women’s Day 8/3 for the class, one time the teacher was worried when a male student in the class fell during a soccer match.

These memories will also remain in the children's minds so that later on they will always believe that no matter how stormy or difficult life is, when they look back, there will always be the "magical robot cat" teacher who is always tolerant and protective.
I am really touched by the feelings that my students have given me. Maybe my work will be the same as many other normal teachers, but I am luckier to have students accompany and share so that I have more motivation to do my job well. This is also a great gift for me on Vietnamese Teachers' Day 20-11 and a gift that I will probably never forget.
These special films of Nghe An students have just been awarded 2 third prizes by the Vietnam Education Trade Union at the contest “Teachers in my eyes”. This award may not be high, but these are truly beautiful memories for the makers and teachers.

Teacher Phan Van Son - Principal of Quy Hop 2 High School happily said: The effect of the film is not only for those involved but for all of us, especially for teachers working in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas. The feelings that students have expressed in the film have shown that teachers, with their responsibility and heart, have made an impression on students; it is the creativity of students in the 4.0 era. More importantly, it shows the good relationship between teachers and students and that is something that should be respected and honored in any circumstance.
