3 year old girl slipped and drowned while playing in the stream
(Baonghean.vn) - On the way home from school, a 3-year-old boy and his father stopped by a friend's house, then went down to the stream to play and unfortunately slipped and drowned.
Mr. Lo Van Tung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cam Muon Commune, Que Phong District, said: A tragic drowning incident just occurred in the area, the victim was a 3-year-old girl.
Accordingly, on the morning of August 16, LTTD (born 2019), residing in Cam Muon commune, and his father went to register for school. On the way home, the father and son turned into an acquaintance's house in Pun village, Cam Muon commune. At about 11:30 a.m. the same day, D. and a niece went down to Que stream to play. Unfortunately, D. slipped and fell and drowned. Because the niece accompanying D. was speechless, she could not shout for help at that time, but ran back to inform her family.
When people got to the area where D. slipped, they could no longer see him.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities, villagers and relatives quickly began searching. After about an hour, D. was found, but the victim had passed away.
Currently, LTTD's body has been handed over to the family for burial according to local customs.
