Party members' opinions sent to the 12th Congress
(Baonghean) - Looking forward to the 12th Party Congress, Party members from all regions with different positions and backgrounds have sent their thoughts and feelings to the Congress.
Over the past eleven Party Congress terms, the ideology and policy of great national unity have always been identified by our Party as an important goal to gather all classes of people, gather all social strata to create consensus, contributing greatly to the socio-economic development of the country, as well as participating in deep integration in the international arena.
On the eve of the 12th Congress, the wish of the Front and grassroots mass organizations is that our Party needs to further promote the cause of great national unity, strengthen dialogue channels with the people, and pay more attention to the Front and grassroots mass organizations, because whether the Party's guidelines and policies truly enter the lives of the people or not depends largely on the grassroots cadres doing this work.

The issue of national and religious solidarity requires creative and innovative thinking, avoiding falling into a rut and solving “fait accompli” problems. The Party should have specific policies to thoroughly resolve the issue of national and religious issues in a scientific, flexible and legal manner, ensuring the harmonious interests of the community, ethnic and religious compatriots and ensuring national interests.
Promote propaganda and implementation of the policy of great national unity, equality and fairness among regions, ethnic groups and religions, creating a unified entity, strengthening strength, multiplying patriotism, arousing national pride so that people of all ethnic groups and religions can contribute more to the cause of great national unity and to the prosperous development of the country.

Set the right role and position of agriculture in the economy
It can be affirmed that our country's agricultural economy has had a fairly rapid development. Besides the positive and clear results, the agricultural economy is currently facing many difficulties and challenges - that is, climate change is increasingly evident with increasingly hot weather, increasingly severe droughts are threatening the country's agricultural production. Vietnam is also in the process of integrating into TPP, EU, ASEAN, ... the challenge is even more severe for agricultural production when the quality of many agricultural products and goods does not meet international standards, violating food safety. In addition, the prices of agricultural products are still high compared to the general world prices because there is still a lot of manual labor involved in the production process.

In the short and long term, agriculture is still the key economic sector, the "support" for other economic sectors to operate. Therefore, it is necessary to properly position agriculture in the current and future economy to have appropriate orientation and steps. The agricultural economy needs to move towards commodity production with product quality that meets international standards, and can compete in price to participate in exporting to the world market. To do this, the Party and the State need to plan each concentrated production area based on the characteristics as well as the potential and strengths of each locality.
Along with that, continue to promote land consolidation, plot exchange, land accumulation, creating large commodity production areas, thereby introducing mechanization into the production process, reducing "living" labor to reduce product costs, increase productivity and output. At the same time, it is necessary to promote joint ventures and "4-house" associations, attract businesses, including foreign businesses, to invest in agricultural products to create a closed production chain from raw material production, processing and product consumption, increasing the added value of each agricultural product.
In addition, the State also needs to pay attention to the conditions to ensure a stable and solid agricultural development, including investment in infrastructure for agricultural production such as transportation, irrigation and mechanisms and policies to stimulate both farmers and businesses in the agricultural production process.
