People's opinions on the 5th Central Conference

The 5th Central Conference, 12th tenure closed on the afternoon of May 10. This was a conference discussing many important issues of the country. Therefore, the conference also received the attention of many Party members and people of Ho Chi Minh City.
Many cadres, party members and the masses expect that Resolution 5 of the Central Committee will soon be effectively applied to real life.
Dr. Tran Du Lich - former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies said that this 5th Central Conference discussed many important and urgent issues related to the country's development, especially in-depth discussions on the State economy and private economy.

Dr. Tran Du Lich said: “We have positioned State-owned enterprises in the right place, for the first time we have placed the private economy in its proper role as an important driving force. This demonstrates the development mindset, wanting to develop, wanting to industrialization and modernization, wanting to develop must rely on domestic strength, domestic forces”.
According to Dr. Tran Du Lich, we solve the problem of how the private enterprise sector must invest in agriculture and rural areas. From the perspective of the resolution coming into life, it must go through a process of institutionalization in terms of laws and regulations. To implement it, we must reform the administrative apparatus and operating mechanism to make that ideology come into life, so that the Party's resolution becomes reality.
Mr. Do Thanh Tuu, currently doing business in the food industry in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, said that in the past few days, through the press, he has been very interested in the issues discussed at the 5th Central Conference. From the issue of cadres to the economic issue. Mr. Tuu commented: “I think the Party is very determined in proposing solutions to take care of the development of the private economy in a healthy and sustainable way. Hopefully, the Party will direct all levels and sectors to implement policies well, innovate mechanisms, and create conditions for businesses, especially private businesses, to develop in a socialist-oriented market economy.”
Mr. Tran Viet Anh - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Rubber Plastic Association also strongly agrees with the views and contents of the 5th Central Conference when discussing the State economy and private economy.
Mr. Tran Viet Anh said that in a socialist-oriented market economy, the State economy always plays a leading and leading role. If we want the economy to develop, there must be a good combination between the State economy and the private economy.
Mr. Tran Viet Anh emphasized: “State-owned enterprises are always the leading enterprises, the private economy is the following enterprises to do the work that the State does not do. State-owned enterprises do the work that the private economy cannot do. Those are very large projects, requiring a lot of investment, technology investment, and brainpower investment. The combination between the private economy and the state economy is a good and reasonable combination.”
Through following the 5th Conference, Mr. Pham Duy Nguyen - Secretary of Party Cell 6, Tu Lien Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi expressed his confidence in the Party's policy of continuing to innovate, mechanisms, policies, encouraging and creating conditions for private economic development.
Mr. Pham Duy Nguyen presented: “Encouraging the development of the private economic sector, we see that this is the right direction of our Party. However, we have not been able to do it thoroughly. We need to do better in terms of supervision and management. We also need to strive to do better so that our Resolutions and orientations are implemented by all people.”
Regarding the Party building and rectification and considering disciplining some officials, Ms. Le Thi Minh Huong (in Nguyen Trung Truc ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) said: “I think the Party’s decision is correct. The leaders will look at Mr. Dinh La Thang’s example to avoid regrettable mistakes. How to gain the people’s trust and the Party’s support. If anyone is making mistakes, look at that to correct themselves.”
Sharing the same view, Mr. Tran Minh Thuc (Nghia Trung ward, Gia Nghia town, Dak Nong province) expressed: "The Party has just disciplined a high-ranking official. In my opinion, the Party should take strong action, no matter how high-ranking the official is, it must be done, done to bring trust to the people"./.
