The Meaning of the Acronyms of Famous High Performance Cars
Mercedes AMG cars are known for their aggressive design and powerful engines that produce an extremely captivating sound.
Mercedes (AMG)
AMG is the acronym for the two co-founders Hans Werner Aufrecht (A), Erhard Melcher (M) and the German region of Grobaspach (G) - Aufrecht's birthplace. The German car company's cars are often beautiful and wonderful, but when you see the car name with the prefix AMG attached, it is certain that the car's engine has been exclusively built with the philosophy of "one engineer, one engine". Mercedes AMG cars are often designed to be aggressive, equipped with AMG 5-spoke wheels and engines that produce an extremely enchanting roar.
BMW (M Performance)
BMW stands for Bavarian Motor Works, meaning the car company originated from Bavaria, Germany. The letter “M” comes from the phrase GmbH, formerly BMW Motorsport GmbH – BMW’s racing division, which was established in the 1960s to start BMW’s sports car program. The truth is that BMW’s high-performance M Sport cars are lighter, more powerful, accelerate faster than the original cars, and of course, the selling price is also much higher due to the use of premium materials instead of standard materials.

Honda (Si & Type R)

Subaru (WRX, STI)
WRX - World Rally Experimental and STI - Subaru Technica International, STI is an upgraded version based on the standard WRX.
