The meaning of the code on the driver's license that many people do not know
PET card driving license has a series of 12 digits, each digit has a different meaning.
For example, the number sequence on a driver's license is: 771195002226. These 12 digits are divided into 4 groups of digits, they do not appear randomly but are used to identify the driver's personal information.
The first cluster is 77. This is the code of the province/city that issued the driver's license. This code is similar to the province/city code of the CCCD, the only difference is that the province code consists of 2 digits compared to the 3 digits of the CCCD.
The second group consists of 1 digit indicating gender. People born in the 20th century (from 1900 - 1999): Male is 0, female is 1
21st century (2000 - 2099): Male 2; female 3
The third group of two digits determines the year the driver passed the driving test. If it is a combined license, the year of the highest class is taken.
The fourth group consists of 7 digits. This is a random series of numbers to distinguish it from other driving licenses and avoid duplication.
