The new generation Yamaha Nouvo has been launched in Vietnam.
On October 27th, the Japanese automaker launched its 6th generation scooter with 3 versions, using a 125cc engine and priced from 33.9 million VND, cheaper than the previous model.
With its sixth new version, Yamaha demonstrates its ambition to address weaknesses, improve strengths, and expand its customer base. One of the highlights is a host of new features such as a keyless entry system, an automatic locking and night-time illumination system, an electric side stand, and a rear fender.

In addition, it features a new, less complex and more elegant design, suitable for older customers. The headlight cluster includes new projector headlights and LED daytime running lights. The rear turn signals are integrated with the brake lights, creating a more unified and less angular look compared to the previous version. The RC and GP versions are equipped with a key fob that includes a remote vehicle locator function within a 20-meter range, along with a new multi-functional lock with integrated LED lighting. The instrument panel has a new design.
The Japanese manufacturer equipped the 2015 Nouvo FI with a 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, YMJET-FI electronic fuel injection, 10.9:1 compression ratio, a maximum power of 10.4 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 10.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

Other standard features include a pair of 16-inch 5-spoke sports rims with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. In the new Nouvo FI version, Yamaha still uses tubeless tires, with a 70/90 front tire and a 90/80 rear tire. Under the seat is a storage compartment with enough space for a full-face helmet.
Yamaha is selling the 6th generation 2015 Nouvo FI in the Vietnamese market in 3 versions: the standard SX version priced at 33.9 million VND, the RC version priced at 35.9 million VND, and the GP version priced at 36.4 million VND. This represents a reduction of 800,000-2,000,000 VND compared to the previous version.
